Rev. Dr. Chad Pierce
SENIOR PASTOR
Chad grew up in Holland, MI before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps followed by undergraduate studies at Calvin College. After marrying his wife, Jodi, Chad went on to receive post graduate degrees from Western Theological Seminary, Jerusalem University College, and Durham University. Vocationally, Chad has spent time as both a professor and a minister; the combination of his gifts come alive at the intersection of these two roles in a way where each is blessed and enhanced by the other. Chad has been pastoring Faith since 2014. He and Jodi have four children ranging from middle school to young adulthood. Their family enjoys travel, hiking, and spending time outdoors together. Chad and Jodi love to participate in adventure and running races around the US and internationally. In his spare time, Chad is an avid reader, an amateur woodworker, and is curating a diverse collection of vinyl records.

Rev. Jen Rozema
PASTOR OF DISCIPLESHIP AND CARE
Jen joined the Faith Team in 2018. She has been part of the Holland community since graduating Calvin College and marrying her husband, Steve, before which she lived in Grand Rapids. After serving local churches in youth and worship capacities, Jen studied at Western Theological Seminary and became ordained in the CRCNA. Her passion for pastoral ministry is fueled by what she considers a deep privilege to come alongside people in both ordinary and extraordinary moments of life, to recognize together where the gospel is alive and God is at work, and to become spiritually formed disciples of Jesus. Aside from pastoring, Jen enjoys running, reading, music, and winning at Scrabble. She and Steve have five children with whom they love to hike, travel, and gather around the table for good food and coffee.

Rachel Baggech
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS & COMMUNITY LIFE
Rachel’s life experience brought her all around the world, growing up in Scotland and living on the mission field in Kenya, before she moved to the US. Her undergrad and graduate studies at the University of York and the London School of Economics and Political Science prepared her well for the varied roles in non profit and human resources Rachel filled before she came on staff at Faith in 2012. Her current role at Faith, a blend of hospitality, outreach, and missions, is served well by Rachel’s unique skill and experience set. Her greatest joy comes from creating diverse community and providing opportunities for people to reach out in love. Rachel has seven adult children, some of which joined her family through birth and others as refugees from Sudan or Burma. Their family loves to cook great food together and to engage meaningful cultural experiences both locally and around the world. Rachel spends her free time training as a distance runner both in marathons and on trails and is a licensed event planner and caterer.

Ryan King
DIRECTOR OF STUDENT MINISTRIES
Ryan was born in Canada and grew up on the east side of Michigan. He attended Grand Valley State University, graduating with a degree in Film and Broadcasting, and is currently working toward a Master of Divinity degree at Western Theological Seminary. Ryan began his current role at Faith in 2024 after having worked in other church and college settings where he has developed his creative and relational gifts working with youth and young adults. He loves the vision of what the Church can be in this cultural moment; a safe haven for those who seek friendship and a place to know God more as well as a community that serves its neighbors. When he’s not doing homework or hanging out with students, Ryan channels most of his energy toward reading sci-fi/fantasy novels at coffeeshops, ranking pizza places, walking his dogs, and rock climbing.

Jon Cornell
CUSTODIAN
Jon joined the staff at Faith in 2021 as custodian, which means he’s involved in literally every part of ministry at Faith. Between setting up for and reorganizing after events, seeing to the general cleanliness and order of the building, and supporting regular ministry rhythms as well as special uses of the building, Jon’s hard work and friendly nature bring distinct blessing to our Faith family. Jon has been part of the Holland Community for his entire life, and he and his wife Julie have two children. Their family loves being outdoors and engaging learning experiences together. His kids also particularly love driving remote control cars around Faith when the building’s quiet and they have it all to themselves.
